Bunny Hop!

The first time we visited the location with my client, the potential could already be seen, but only through very rose coloured glasses. This 600 sq.m. space got its new shades and shapes gradually during last spring. My goal was to create a space for the people: positive, ever-changing, fun, creative, yet professional and functional. The inspiration for the wooden platform in the corner came from Frasier Crane’s apartment. Feel of the natural wood in contrast with the shiny concrete create structure. When choosing colours, I also wanted to bring the contrast: black surfaces paired with with softer pastel tones.

Rabbit Films has a fun logo, and I wanted to emphasise it somehow. Creating a shingle-like surface out of brass has been an idea I have had in mind for a while and now it came to good use – Isa Kukkapuro & Henrik Enbom from Trash Design were the perfect friends to call and bring my idea to life! Henkka used brass originally from the counter of the Design Museo Cafe and the base is plywood from Lahti Sibelius Hall.

Luovan alan tuotantoyhtiönä meidän toiveemme oli saada tila, jossa ihmisille tulee hyvä ja lämmin fiilis käytännöllisyyttä unohtamatta. Tärkeä aspekti suunnittelussa oli myös saada iso avoin toimistotila, missä luovuus ja yhteinen tekemisen meininki saa näkyä. Työskentely Sissen kanssa niin ideoinnin, kun toteutuksenkin kanssa toimi moitteettomasti alusta loppuun ja palaute työntekijöiltä sekä asiakkailtamme on ollut mahtavaa. Hanna Saarela, Administration Manager, Rabbit Films Oy

Ensimmäisen kerran uudelle toimistolle tullessa katse kiinnittyi upeaan ja tyylikkääseen lavaan, messinkisiin pupuihin, sekä avaraan valoisaan tunnelmaan minkä isot ikkunat ja auringon paiste luo. Jättimäinen terassi viherkasveineen oli ihana yllätys ja se onkin ollut suosikki paikka syödä lounasta niin pitkään kun tarkeni.
